GENEROUS giving!
God (through His people) provided a new vehicle for the kids of HHCR!
HHCR is in partnership with One Child - a global child sponsorship ministry. One of their supporting churches in Colorado took up a special offering to help the kids at HHCR! This offering is a huge blessing to the kids of HHCR!
The generosity of this church will:
Keep HHCR moving forward for another year.
Provide a much-needed new transportation vehicle for the kids.
Provide new computers, printers, and projector for kids and staff.
Provide a new Social Worker to focus on a new initiative of HHCR. This initiative will help HHCR kids transition well back into Filipino daily life.

Water
There has been a drought on our island of Cebu for several months. Since mid-January 2024 the island of Cebu has experienced minimal rain. This has caused HHCR to be on water rationing. Meaning large blue barrels are placed in restrooms and other areas that need water. Everyone is required to conserve water. Instead of showers everyone has a bucket and pail. Several years ago with the help of Builders International HHCR was able to drill a well. Unfortunately it did not produce water. HHCR does have other hand-dug wells. These wells rely on rain water. These wells do not produce enough for the need. So HHCR is driving a bus full of barrels to another location to haul water back to the Ranch. This is costing $200 a week. Please pray with us for rain!

At HHCR each child attends HHCA - Happy Horizons Christian Academy. Each child is tested in and given appropriate school work called PACEs. While doing their math or science the child is also learning about God. Every lesson teaches about God and every page has a Bible verse. This allows the kids to learn about the God who loves them while learning about history and language. Light For The Lost believes in the kids of HHCR and has provided these school materials. The children at HHCR are amazing people! They are here because those who should have loved and protected them did not or could not. Now, HHCR has taken on the responsibility of raising them. And we love what we do! But any parent of teenagers can tell you that feeding and educating teens is not easy or cheap! At HHCR, we do our best to keep our costs down. Each meal is only a $1.50. Education is about $3 a day. But then there are family visits, court cases, medical needs, clothes, shoes, counseling… These are daily needs. You can help! $5 or $50, no gift is too small. Every donation goes towards helping raise the amazing children at HHCR! Thank you.
